The whole creation was created “in Christ.”

“For it was *in Him* that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and *in and for Him.*

And He Himself existed before all things, and **in Him all things consist** (cohere, are held together).”   – Paul, in Colossians

This premise is absolutely foundational to the Gospel. The universe and everything in it was created in, sustained, and forever held together IN CHRIST. They are the One in whom we live, move and have our being and the One who fills everything everywhere with Himself.

We can’t alter the depths of Their Love by believing or not believing… We simply do not have that kind of power. See the end of Romans 8 for an incredible list of things that CANNOT affect the love of Christ. (Death is included.)

We can only come into the experience of what is already true from eternity past. We can discover our Real Life, hidden with Christ in God.

No, we cannot change Truth – the Trinity set Their infinite, unconditional, relentless love on us before the creation. This Truth remains a reality, whether one believes or not.

But we can certainly live

AS IF this Truth doesn’t exist.
