This is our monthly review of some of the key things happening in the world where we see God’s Kingdom at work. This month, we look at certain issues being exposed, all of which is leading toward a more tangible display of God’s justice and righteousness. 

Underwater Discovery

We’ll start with a major discovery from the depths of U.S. seawater this past month. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released the first ever footage of a giant squid found in U.S. waters. This is an extremely rare sight taken from 2500 feet below the surface of the Gulf.

Besides the fact that this is just cool – this is also prophetic signpost of something else. It speaks of things long hidden under the surface being unveiled and exposed. In dream language, a squid can represent an entangling or controlling spirit. There are in fact hidden forces of unhealthy control and spiritual entanglement that are being brought to the surface in this season.

This squid was discovered in “pitch black” U.S. waters, according to the NOAA. The team involved with the video also had an incredibly difficult time bringing it to the surface. There was a lightning strike that hit the ship and threatened the computer equipment linked to the camera. Then there was a water spout on the port bow that threatened the ship and its equipment even further. It was overall a very trying process to bring this video to the world (not including the task of sifting through hours and hours of footage).

In the same way, there has been great difficulty in exposing the underground issues hidden in the “pitch-black”, especially within the hidden “waters” of U.S. government and media. Nonetheless, the truth will prevail and exposure will continue to come… And on that note, onto the next story…

Exposing the Darkness

Billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein has taken center stage in the news after being accused of pedophilia and sexual abuse lasting over a decade. This is an unprecedented case of someone operating in high levels of power being exposed in this particular area. There have been a number similar situations over the past few years, but this case shows a new dimension of justice and exposure. Many believe this case is “an asteroid” that is about to strike the elite circles that Epstein moved in. Many more people are expected to be exposed for similar crimes, especially in the area of human trafficking.

Many people are unaware of the massive legislation against sex trafficking that has been released through the current presidential administration. As a result, more and more rings of prostitution and trafficking are being exposed, and this will continue to happen in the days ahead. This will be especially true amongst people of great power, whether in business, media, or government. Decades ago, this would have never been possible, but there is a new cry for justice that is reaching a boiling point, and the scales have tipped. The Kingdom is advancing in this area and God is preparing the way for righteous leaders to come into more places of influence.

A Flood in the White House

This month there was a major leak in the White House, specifically in the media press room. For a change, this was not a “leak” of information, but an actual leak of water. Major floods hit Washington D.C. and breached the basement level of the White House where the press room is located.

Rain is a biblical symbol for cleansing. And indeed, a spiritual cleansing is happening within both the media and government. At the “foundation” (basement level), there is a cleansing occurring as things are being brought to the surface and leadership/influencers are shifting. The corrupt entanglement between media and government in particular is being brought to the surface as well. For those with eyes to see, God is deeply at work. Let’s continue to pray for the cleansing waters of grace to flood Washington DC and the entire nation!

Quick Update: Right before publishing this post, a story hit this week of a Jesuit priest praying on the floor of the House of Representatives, and casting out spirits of discouragement, fear, divisiveness, and sadness. Whatever your feelings are on this type of deliverance prayer, it is quite an extraordinary sign of dark things being dealt with in a new and open way.
