Editor’s Note: The following is from a friend and subscriber of Elisha’s Riddle – Susan Mercado. She sent over a beautiful testimony followed by a word of encouragement that I believe is right on target with what God is highlighting in this season. In the coming days (and, of course, right now) there will be an ABUNDANCE of opportunities to release the Kingdom of God in other people’s lives. Let us be expectant and ready to step out as these opportunities come . . .

I’m sharing this testimony from a woman I know. She’s amazing. Her name is Deborah. I think she’s about 65, born Jewish, about 5’3″. She doesn’t walk fast…but God is with her…and she ABSOLUTELY DOES His will.
Deborah’s Testimony:
Â
“After my dentists appointment I sat down on an outdoor bench in front of a hotel, next to an African American gentleman, seated with a Quran beside him. Commenting on the beautiful weather, I asked him if there is anything he would like lifted to God in prayer. He said “everything.” I asked him if I can begin praying, and he said yes. I prayed for whatever God put on my heart, to include his family relationships, decision-making, and peace. He expressed thankfulness and surprise, coming from the lips of a stranger, and affirmed that God sent me to him.
Â
He opened up that he is a Real Estate Developer who came to the area for the purpose of buying two blocks of real estate in a rundown area in order to renovate it. Since this will bring about formidable change to the area, I encouraged him to seek confirmation that this is the location where God intends him to purchase, and shared the verse in Isaiah about God’s exhortation to the children of Israel to rebuild the waste cities. Milton was familiar with that verse. I prayed a second time for his wisdom, protection and guidance. At that moment, a lady I previously prayed for saw me seated on the bench, came over and gave me a hug. Both expressed thankfulness and acknowledged God showing up on their behalf.”
Â
My friend Deborah currently lives in northern Virginia. She has lived in Jersey City, NJ where she took mass transit to her job in NYC. She’s a small, unassuming woman many would pass by on the street without giving a thought. Little do they know the “power” she carries.
Â
Here comes the encouragement… Are you ready?
Â
The ONLY difference between us … and Deborah … is…
Â
…She opened her mouth!
Â
What do you think? Can YOU do that? Can you allow God to work through you? Will you allow God to perform miracles through you?
Â
Mannn… We have a world that is desperate, DESPERATE for so much. Are we gonna let a little fear hold us back? Â
Â
Let’s introduce the world to our Jesus … and let our Jesus change their lives! Hallelujah!
Â
Blessings, beloved children of God… Let’s exercise our POWER!!!
Â

Thanks,
Susan Mercado
