The universe is our Dad’s, and everything in it…

From the beginning, God our Dad saw all that He made and found pleasure in it (Genesis 1:31). Everything that exists was authored by our Dad and His One and Only Son. Together, They have always had the oil of gladness toward this universe (Hebrews 1:9). God the Dad has given this entire universe to His Son Jesus (John 3:35; Matthew 11:27).

Even when the brothers and sisters of Jesus turned from Him and His Dad, God made a way. He set apart a family through which He could redeem the whole world. Dad told Abram that the whole world would be blessed through him. All of the families of the earth has always been the promise of Dad to restore the universe (Genesis 12:3).

One of the greatest moves of the Spirit of our Dad was in the first century when the message of our awesome Creator went from primarily a Jewish thing to a Jewish and Gentile thing. It was finally God’s heart as a Dad’s heart  overflowing in love to the nations, just as He always planned. His message of repentance, restoration, love, and healing was always meant for all people in all places.

Dad’s glory fills the whole earth right now as you read this (Isaiah 6:3). His lost sons and daughters are blind to it, but Dad plans to wake them up. He’s like a Dad who walks into His children’s room and gently sings a song.

It’s the song of His kindness that leads His lost children to wake up.

Jesus commanded His brothers and sisters to preach the good news to all of creation (Mark 16:15). Every single person was designed with a heart that longs for love and acceptance. The lost children of this universe are looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. Their hearts will only find rest in the love and acceptance of the Dad of all creation.

Repent, for Dad’s kingdom is at hand…
